Core Values - RAISE Manifesto Website

Last updated:

These core values guide all design and implementation decisions for the RAISE Manifesto website. They provide a framework for evaluating options and ensuring alignment with our vision.

Core Values

These values guide the creation, stewardship, and evolution of the RAISE Manifesto and its site:

Simplicity

Strive for clarity and ease in both design and communication. Complexity is only added when it serves genuine purpose.

Transparency

Make decisions, processes, and changes visible and understandable to all. Openness builds trust and invites collaboration.

Humility

Recognize that no methodology or artifact is perfect. Remain open to feedback, revision, and learning from others at every stage.

Bravery

Have the courage to question assumptions, invite critique, and pursue bold ideas—even when they challenge the status quo.

Accessibility

Designed and developed to meet high accessibility standards, aiming for compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and aspiring to Level AAA where feasible. Ensuring a "world-class" experience for screen reader users is a primary objective.

These values were established at project inception and are referenced during all decision-making processes. They evolve as we learn and grow.
